Description
The Non-breathing Anesthesia Circuit is an improved Mapleson F-type circuit and an extension of the T-tube system. It is mainly used for pediatric and veterinary anesthesia and is suitable for patients who retain spontaneous breathing during the operation or have restricted tracheal intubation. This circuit provides auxiliary ventilation through a gas storage bag, without a carbon dioxide absorption device, and relies on a high fresh gas flow rate to prevent repeated inhalation.●The circuit design reduces the gas flow resistance and lowers the respiratory work, making it suitable for the small airways of children and animals.
●The dead cavity is relatively small, which improves the gas exchange efficiency.
●Through the high-flow fresh gas flushing circuit, the repeated inhalation of carbon dioxide is prevented to ensure that patients inhale fresh gas.
●The airbag allows anesthesiologists to observe the patient's spontaneous breathing rate and provide assisted ventilation by manually squeezing the airbag when necessary.
●The circuit structure is simple, easy to assemble and operate, and suitable for use in operating rooms or during transportation.
●The circuit does not contain a carbon dioxide absorption device, which simplifies the design, but a high flow rate of gas is required to prevent repeated inhalation.

● The main body of the circuit: It includes the breathing tube, air storage bag, fresh gas inlet, patient interface, etc.
● Airbag: Used for assisting ventilation and observing the breathing rate.
● Fresh gas inlet: Connect to the anesthesia machine or oxygen source to provide fresh gas.
● Patient interface: Usually a mask or tracheal intubation connector, selected based on the usage scenario.
● Exhaust valve: It is used to discharge exhaled gas to prevent repeated inhalation.
● Hoses and connectors: including transparent gas supply hoses, 15mm or 22mm external thread joints, etc., to ensure compatibility with anesthesia machines or other equipment.
